Temperature range: include ambient conditions, heat load and required pull-down or heat-up time.

Stability and uniformity: distinguish controller accuracy from performance in the actual load.

Pump and connections: match pressure, flow, hose, fittings and elevation difference.

Bath and fluid: verify volume, material, viscosity, flash point and compatibility throughout the range.

Configuration and safe use

The selected heat-transfer fluid, tubing and vessel must be suitable for the entire operating range. Provide adequate ventilation and prevent condensation, overflow, dry running and contact with hot or cold surfaces. Cooling or heating capacity must be assessed at the required operating temperature, not only at the headline maximum.
