The Athena 782BS is an ergonomic gas-spring dual monitor arm, designed for flexible dual-screen workstations in clinical and other demanding environments. More and more healthcare and lab workstations run on two screens at once: patient record next to imaging, monitoring next to registration. The 782BS keeps both screens stable in place and lets them move effortlessly with your working posture. Athena supplies its medical IT solutions from the Netherlands.
The 782BS carries two monitors up to 27 inch per screen (maximum screen width 640 mm), with a weight capacity of 2 to 6 kg per screen. Both arms have a VESA mount of 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm and tilt up and down independently. That way you set each screen at exactly the right viewing angle, for example one screen straight in front of you and the other slightly turned.
The integrated gas spring system balances the weight of both screens, so you set the height steplessly and without force. That makes it easy to place the screens at eye level and let them follow changing tasks and users during the day, important at workstations shared by several colleagues.
The arm clamps onto desktops up to 9 cm thick with a C-clamp; no drilling required. The integrated cable management guides the cables of both screens away neatly, keeping the workstation tidy and easy to clean. Optionally the 782BS comes with two USB pass-through ports for peripherals directly at the workstation. The arm has a clean silver finish.
