The Athena 851CA is a slim gas-spring tablet arm for tablets from 7.9 to 13 inch. Three 360° pivots and a ±30° tilt range put your tablet in any desired position, firmly clamped to the worktop.
The Athena 851CA is an ergonomic and space-saving tablet arm, designed for tablet-based workflows in clinical and other demanding environments. More and more care processes revolve around the tablet: signing off medication, bedside registration, reviewing results during rounds. The 851CA keeps the tablet stable at eye level and within reach, without taking up valuable worktop space. Athena supplies its medical IT solutions from the Netherlands.
The arm suits tablets from 7.9 to 13 inch weighing up to 3 kg, from compact models to large pro tablets, including those in a protective (medical) case. The holder also has a VESA mount of 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm, which makes the arm suitable for light screens with a VESA connection as well.
The gas spring system adjusts the height steplessly and effortlessly. The arm tilts 30 degrees up and 30 degrees down, and rotates a full 360 degrees on three pivot points. That puts the tablet in any conceivable position: upright for input, flat for signing, or turned towards a colleague or patient to show something.
The 851CA has a streamlined, slim profile and external cable management, so charging and data cables run neatly along the arm. The C-clamp attaches to worktops up to 10 cm thick; no drilling required. Finished in light grey, the arm blends into the clinical environment.
