The Athena A238J is a proven and cost-efficient all-in-one medical panel PC, optimized for cloud-based and virtualized environments such as IGEL, Citrix and VMware. Where processing happens centrally in the data centre, the workstation itself mainly needs to be stable, efficient and hygienic, and that is exactly where the A238J excels. Athena designs its medical IT from the Netherlands.
The Intel quad-core J4125 (4x 2 GHz) with 4 to 8 GB DDR4 and 128 GB to 1 TB m-SATA SSD is amply sized for virtual desktops, EHR sessions and web applications. With TPM support for secure authentication and a consumption of just 24 watts, you keep the total cost of ownership low, especially at scale.
The 24-inch full-HD display has anti-glare glass in a fully flat design without edges or gaps: wiped down and disinfected in one movement. The housing is IP65 dust- and waterproof with an antibacterial finish. Optionally the panel PC comes with capacitive 10-point multi-touch. An integrated 2 MP privacy webcam is standard.
With 2x USB 3.0, 4x USB 2.0, HDMI (external 4K monitor), RS232, LAN, sound and built-in WLAN (802.11 a/ac/ax/bgn) plus Bluetooth 5.1 you connect all peripherals. The PC weighs 5.3 kg, is 55 mm thin and mounts on trolleys, wall mounts and monitor arms. It runs IGEL OS 11, Windows 10 and Windows 11 and is certified to IEC 60601-1 and 60601-1-2.
