The Athena AMK103 is a fully sealed IP68 medical keyboard with backlit keys and numeric keypad. The silicone surface can be thoroughly disinfected with common hospital cleaning agents, ideal for healthcare and laboratory.
The Athena AMK103 is a disinfectable medical keyboard for environments where hygiene, reliability and easy cleaning are essential: hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies and cleanrooms. The keyboard is fully sealed to IP68 and protected 360 degrees against dirt and water. You clean and disinfect it thoroughly with the cleaning and disinfection agents you already use. Athena supplies its medical IT solutions from the Netherlands.
The top layer is one seamless silicone membrane: there are no gaps or edges where moisture and dirt can accumulate. The flat keys wipe clean across the entire surface in one movement. The AMK103 thus meets the requirements of a waterproof, washable keyboard for clinical use, without compromising typing comfort.
Unique to the AMK103 is the fully backlit key field with blue backlighting. In dimmed rooms, think of monitoring, imaging departments or night shifts, every key remains directly readable. The backlight is efficient (max. 500 mA) and the keyboard itself consumes a maximum of 100 mA.
The AMK103 has a notebook layout with integrated numeric keypad, 16 x 16 mm keys and a 2.5 mm key travel with scissor mechanism. That types lightly and accurately, even during prolonged use. LED indicators show num lock, caps lock and scroll lock. The keyboard works via USB, plug-and-play without drivers, and comes in medical white.
