Description

Athena AMT160: compact computer trolley for healthcare

The Athena AMT160 is an ergonomic and compact medical computer trolley for environments where space is limited but flexibility and comfort remain essential. With a smaller footprint than larger trolley models, the AMT160 moves effortlessly through narrow corridors, smaller treatment rooms and busy wards. That way you have a full mobile workstation at hand everywhere. Athena designs and supplies its medical IT solutions from the Netherlands.

The AMT160 at a glance

  • Compact trolley for narrow corridors and small rooms
  • Gas spring: desktop 80-110 cm, monitor 112-153 cm
  • Extra strong LiFePO4 battery of 40 Ah
  • LED indicator shows charge in green, orange and red
  • MDF with medical-grade coating, aluminium and stainless steel
  • Class 2 double insulation, NEN/EN/IEC 62353

Smooth height adjustment with gas spring

You adjust the work surface manually and steplessly in height using a gas spring, from 80 to 110 cm. The monitor moves along from 112 to 153 cm. The AMT160 thus supports both seated and standing work, and you switch between the two within a second. Because the height adjustment is mechanical, this medical trolley remains affordable to buy and virtually maintenance-free.

Extra strong battery for long shifts

The battery compartment under the work surface holds an extra strong 40 Ah LiFePO4 battery. LiFePO4 batteries are safer, last longer and age more slowly than regular lithium-ion batteries, exactly what you want with intensive daily use in healthcare. The power system (220V AC in, 12V DC out) shows the battery status with an LED indicator in green, orange and red, so you see at a glance whether the workstation needs charging.

Modular build, matched to your workflow

The AMT160 is modular: you configure the trolley with different drawer blocks, holders and IT components. The gas-spring monitor arm carries screens of 5 to 10 kg and has a VESA mount of 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm. The work surface measures 435 x 500 mm and the pull-out keyboard tray 260 x 480 mm. A front transport handle and four castors (ø 125 mm, two lockable) make the trolley manoeuvrable and safe to park.

Medically certified and easy to clean

The construction combines an aluminium alloy, stainless steel and MDF with a medical-grade coating. These materials withstand cleaning and disinfection agents and intensive use on the ward. The AMT160 complies with CE, RoHS, NEN/EN/IEC 3140 and NEN/EN/IEC 62353 and features class 2 double insulation. Mechanical parts and the power system carry a two-year warranty.
