With the Fenwal 4R5461 blood bag freezing press you keep a 250 mL bag fully flat. The two plates press the bag into a uniform layer. This keeps freezing in the CryoMed Controlled-Rate Freezer controlled. The OriGen CryoSure 250 bag is suitable as well.
This large model has a 22.9 x 30.5 cm pressing surface. You slide the presses into the rack of the freezing chamber. The CryoMed model determines how many presses fit. This way you process several blood bags in one freezing cycle.
