Description

The Thermo Scientific Fiberlite F9-6×1000 LEX fixed-angle rotor processes 6 x 1000 mL per run. Moreover, this rotor is made of carbon fiber composite. In addition, the F9-6×1000 LEX reaches a maximum speed of 9,000 rpm. As a result, you achieve an RCF of up to 17,568 x g with a high capacity of 6 liters.

Furthermore, the F9-6×1000 LEX stands out with its lightweight construction. The name LEX stands for lightest and refers to the low rotor weight. Therefore, you lift and place the rotor easily with the speed handles. Moreover, this reduces fatigue and the risk of injury.

In addition, carbon fiber composite is chemically resistant and corrosion resistant. As a result, the F9-6×1000 LEX withstands aggressive samples and solvents. Furthermore, the carbon fiber construction resists material fatigue. This keeps the rotor structurally stable during intensive use.

Finally, the F9-6×1000 LEX works exclusively with the Thermo Scientific LYNX 6000 Superspeed centrifuge. Please note: this rotor does not fit the LYNX 4000. The high 6-liter capacity requires the LYNX 6000. This lets you process large volumes for bioprocessing and cell biology.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the Fiberlite F9-6×1000 LEX

Which centrifuges is the Fiberlite F9-6×1000 LEX compatible with?

The F9-6×1000 LEX works exclusively with the Thermo Scientific LYNX 6000 Superspeed centrifuge. Please note: this rotor does not fit the LYNX 4000. The high 6-liter capacity requires the LYNX 6000.

What is the maximum speed and RCF?

The F9-6×1000 LEX reaches a maximum speed of 9,000 rpm on the LYNX 6000. In addition, the rotor achieves a maximum RCF of 17,568 x g. This lets you process large volumes with high force.

What capacity does the Fiberlite F9-6×1000 LEX have?

The rotor processes 6 x 1000 mL per run, or 6 liters. This is the highest fixed-angle capacity in the LYNX series. As a result, you save time with large batches.

What material is the rotor made of?

The F9-6×1000 LEX is made of carbon fiber composite (Fiberlite). Moreover, this material is lightweight, chemically resistant and corrosion resistant. In addition, the carbon fiber construction resists material fatigue.

What applications is the Fiberlite F9-6×1000 LEX suitable for?

The rotor is ideal for bioprocessing and cell biology. Furthermore, you use it for large-scale sample processing. Diagnostic and clinical research also benefit from the high capacity.

Why does the F9-6×1000 LEX only work with the LYNX 6000?

The F9-6×1000 LEX uses the full 6-liter capacity of the LYNX platform. Only the LYNX 6000 supports this volume. The LYNX 4000 goes up to 4 liters and is therefore not suitable.
