The Thermo Scientific Forma Series 3 Water Jacketed CO2 Incubator offers 184 litre interior volume with water jacket technology and HEPA filtration. With the intuitive iCAN touchscreen, a choice of T/C or IR sensor and optional O2 control, you culture cells under stable, reliable conditions.
The Thermo Scientific Forma Series 3 Water Jacketed CO2 Incubator combines reliability, purity and simplicity. With an interior volume of 184 litre, you culture cells under stable conditions. Additionally, you operate the unit via the intuitive iCAN touchscreen with complete data visibility. As a result, you protect your valuable cultures with minimal effort.
The triple-wall construction delivers outstanding temperature stability. Therefore, the unit protects your cultures against ambient swings and power outages. During a power failure in an 18 °C environment, the temperature drops just 1 °C in the first hour. As a result, your cultures stay safe longer than in an air-jacketed incubator.
The patented HEPA airflow system filters the entire chamber volume every minute. Therefore, the cabinet reaches ISO Class 5 clean room air quality within five minutes after a door opening. Moreover, the fan-assisted airflow prevents stratification and accelerates recovery of all conditions after a door opening.
You choose between a thermal conductivity sensor (T/C) or an infrared sensor (IR). The T/C sensor suits constant temperature and humidity and has a long service life. The IR sensor suits frequent door openings. Additionally, you choose an optional O2 control of 1 to 20% to simulate physiological or hypoxic conditions.
The iCAN touchscreen displays menus, error logs, usage logs and trend graphs. Via the USB port, you download your incubator’s performance data. The heated glass inner door minimizes condensation and therefore contamination. Moreover, you clean the polished stainless steel interior with fully coved corners easily.
The Forma Series 3 Water Jacketed fits perfectly with routine cell culture in medical diagnostics and the pharmaceutical industry and biotech. Also explore our other CO2 incubators or ask for advice via our contact page.
