The Gambro DF-700 blood bag freezing press is intended for 700 mL blood bags. The press flattens the large bag between two plates. Thanks to the uniform thickness, a large volume also freezes in a controlled way. The press fits the CryoMed Controlled-Rate Freezer.
The pressing surface measures 20.3 x 30.5 cm. Besides the Gambro DF-700 bag, equivalent 700 mL bags are suitable too. You place several presses in the freezing chamber. The number depends on the CryoMed model.
