The Gram ExGuard ER600 safety refrigerator stores products that may form a hazardous atmosphere. Therefore the cabinet increases workplace safety. Before each access, the ExGuard extracts the potentially hazardous atmosphere through your existing ventilation system. As a result, you open the door only once the interior is safe. Furthermore, the cabinet suits the pharmaceutical industry and laboratories.
An electromagnetic safety lock blocks the door until extraction is complete. You start the procedure with a single press of the button. A damper extracts contaminated air through the ventilation system, while a non-return valve draws in clean ambient air. Thus the pressure inside the cabinet stays equal. You tailor the access procedure to your own specifications.
A separate controller handles normal cooling between -2 and +20 °C, in line with the BioPlus range. The cabinet runs on the natural refrigerant R290 and has 70 mm insulation.
