This Thermo Scientific freezing rack is intended for skin tissue in packs. The rack has two levels and thus offers extra capacity. The packs lie flat at a fixed height in the CryoMed Controlled-Rate Freezer. This lets the tissue freeze evenly and in a controlled way. Poly Temp supplies the rack for the CryoMed chamber.
The two-level skin tissue freezing rack carries packs with skin grafts. Each level holds the packs flat in place. Thanks to the two levels, you freeze more packs per cycle. The rack fits the CryoMed Controlled-Rate Freezer.
You place the rack in the chamber of the CryoMed. The cold air reaches each pack evenly. As a result, the tissue follows the same freezing profile. This keeps the skin tissue at quality for storage.
