The n-Laf surgery table for rodents by Nordic Labtech is an animal surgery table that combines safety, hygiene and ergonomics in a fully custom-built workstation. The table is made from acid proof stainless steel AISI316 and features a heated, perforated downdraft working area. This working area provides optimal protection for the operator against allergens and anesthesia gases, because air is drawn downward instead of toward the breathing zone. As a result, you carry out procedures on small laboratory animals in a clean and controlled environment.
The heated perforated worktop is made from Corian, a smooth, heat-stable material that keeps the animal at temperature during the procedure. The stainless-steel worktop can be manufactured in sizes up to 3600×800 mm, so the table matches your space and workflow. The ventilated work area and the induction box are integrated into the stainless-steel tabletop. A sink can also be integrated into the tabletop on request, turning the table into a complete animal surgery workstation.
All surfaces are designed to be smooth for easy cleaning. The recess under the perforated work area has a drain connection and can be cleaned quickly with an optional shower handle. Combined with the acid proof AISI316, this supports a high level of hygiene, which is essential in animal facilities and research laboratories.
The electrically adjustable support stand sets the working height steplessly between 700 and 1000 mm, with a control panel placed at the front. The stand is slimly designed for optimal ergonomics and tapers toward the bottom, leaving room to work while seated.
