The PT1000 temperature probe measures the temperature directly in the sample or the heating block. The probe is made of stainless steel and is an optional accessory for the Thermo Scientific Touch Screen Dry Bath / Block Heater.
As soon as you connect the external probe, the internal sensor of the dry bath switches off automatically. Temperature control and display then follow the external PT1000. This lets you measure the actual temperature at the point that matters for your application.
