Termaks B-Series laboratory incubator

The Termaks B-Series is a range of laboratory incubators for the reliable cultivation of living cultures at +37 C and for applications up to +80 C. The incubators operate from 2 C above ambient temperature and combine intuitive control logic with a robust build. Thanks to forced air circulation the temperature stays evenly distributed throughout the chamber, so every sample is incubated under identical conditions. The interior chamber is made entirely of stainless steel: corrosion resistant and easy to clean.

The B-Series is ideally suited as a bacteriological incubator and benchtop incubator in microbiology, clinical and pharmaceutical laboratories. With five volumes from 25 to 420 litres there is a matching model for every workspace, from compact benchtop units to a floor-standing model on lockable castors.

Precise control and operation

Operation is handled through an OLED display with touch control and PIN protection. Temperature control uses a K-sensor combined with a PID controller for a stable setpoint with a variation of just +/- 0.2 C and a readability of 0.1 C. The software can automatically switch between two temperatures at set times, daily or weekly, which is convenient for protocols that run through different phases.

For safety, each incubator features a redundant system with an independent safety thermostat that protects the cultures and the equipment against overheating.

Connectivity, data logging and decontamination

The B-Series is prepared for integrated data management. MODBUS, a potential-free alarm contact and the Connect solution enable data logging and remote operation, while measurements are also stored locally on an SD card. A built-in decontamination and sterilisation routine can be started directly from the display or via Connect, keeping the chamber hygienic between culture runs.

Version with or without inner glass door

As standard the Termaks B-Series is supplied with an inner glass door, so you can check the cultures without opening the door and without an unnecessary temperature drop in the chamber. For hospital applications the incubator is also available without an inner glass door, for example to warm textiles and infusion fluids. Please indicate the required version with your enquiry.

Installation and standards

The B 9025, B 9060 and B 9130 models are stackable with an optional stacking kit to save bench space. The largest model, the B 9420, is a floor-standing unit on lockable castors. All models comply with EN61010 and with the EMC standards EN60730-1 and EN60730-2-14.
