Description

Cimarec i Telemodul controllers for magnetic stirrers

The Thermo Scientific Cimarec i Telemodul controllers are standalone control units for the Cimarec i and Variomag magnetic stirrers. Firstly, these controllers replace a defective controller or serve as a backup for an existing magnetic stirrer. Secondly, they can also be used as an upgrade to a controller with more functions, for example from the Standard Telemodul to the programmable Telemodul 20 C or 40 C.

Four versions for every user level

Firstly, the basic Cimarec i Telemodul (50134969) provides simple stirring control up to 1,000 rpm at fixed 7 W power. Secondly, the Telemodul 20 C delivers a more extensive version with four adjustable power levels, program storage and speeds up to 1,400 rpm. In addition, the Telemodul 40 C offers the highest power up to 40 W, speeds up to 2,000 rpm, ten power levels and an RS-232 interface for PC control and data transfer.

Compatible with multiple stirrer series

Firstly, the Telemodul controllers are compatible with the Cimarec i Micro, Mini, Compact, Maxi and Telesystem stirrer series. Secondly, multiple stirrers can be controlled simultaneously via optional 4-point or 8-point distribution benchblocks. Moreover, the last-used settings remain stored in memory on the 20 C and 40 C versions, which simplifies repeatable experiments.

Applications in research and production

Firstly, Telemodul controllers are used in research laboratories, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry. Secondly, the PC control of the Telemodul 40 C offers benefits in GMP environments and validated processes. In addition, they are suitable for medical diagnostics and quality control in the food industry.

Which Telemodul controller matches my existing Cimarec i stirrer?

Firstly, the right choice depends on the type of stirrer you have. Secondly, the Cimarec i Telemodul (50134969) fits the Micro, Mini, Compact and Maxi stirrers for basic control. In addition, the Telemodul 20 C works on the same stirrers plus the Telesystem multipoint series, with more setting options. Moreover, the Telemodul 40 C is required for the Telesystem 60 and when you need PC control via RS-232.

What is the difference between the Cimarec i Telemodul and the Variomag Standard Telemodul?

Firstly, both controllers are technically equivalent with 7 W power and a 130 to 1,000 rpm speed range. Secondly, the Variomag Standard Telemodul (50119115) is the older version that is compatible with existing Variomag stirrers from earlier production series. In addition, the Cimarec i Telemodul (50134969) is the newer version that functions identically at a lower price.

Can I control multiple stirrers with one Telemodul controller?

Firstly, it is possible to control multiple Cimarec i Micro, Mini or Compact stirrers simultaneously with the Telemodul 20 C or 40 C. Secondly, this requires an optional 4-point or 8-point distribution benchblock that distributes the control signals. Moreover, all connected stirrers operate fully synchronously at the same speed and power setting.

What benefits does the RS-232 interface of the Telemodul 40 C offer?

Firstly, the RS-232 interface enables PC control via standard communication protocols. Secondly, you can log measurement and operating data for traceability and GMP-compliant documentation. In addition, automated control is possible in integrated laboratory systems or process setups.

How many programs can I store on the Telemodul 20 C and 40 C?

Firstly, both controllers offer three individual program memory slots that are directly accessible via dedicated buttons. Secondly, these programs store speed, power level, start time and pause time. Moreover, the last-used settings are automatically retained in memory, so you can quickly resume the same experiments.
