Cimarec Telemodul 10 M controller for Mobil 10 and Mobil 25 stirrers

The Thermo Scientific Cimarec Telemodul 10 M controller is a dedicated control unit for the Cimarec Mobil 10 and Mobil 25 magnetic stirrers. Firstly, this controller delivers the right power for stirring volumes up to 10 litres, including viscous liquids. Secondly, the integrated Quick Stop function provides safety in critical processes by bringing the stirrer to a halt within two seconds.

Quick Stop function for process safety

Firstly, the Quick Stop function stops the connected Mobil stirrer within two seconds of activation. Secondly, this rapid stop minimises the after-run of the stirring bar, significantly reducing the risk of vessel breakage in glass or plastic containers. Moreover, this function is essential in applications where sudden stopping is required, such as detecting an end point in a reaction.

For Mobil 10 and Mobil 25 stirrers

Firstly, the Telemodul 10 M works specifically with the Cimarec Mobil 10 stirrer (50119111) for general laboratory applications up to 56°C. Secondly, it also controls the Cimarec Mobil 25 stirrer (50119112), which is suitable for high temperatures up to 121°C and pressures up to 2 bar. Moreover, the Mobil 25 combination enables applications in autoclaves, water baths and climate chambers where sterilised media must be stirred evenly.

Applications in research and production

Firstly, the Mobil 10/25 stirrers with Telemodul 10 M controller are used in research laboratories, pharma and biotech and the food industry. Secondly, the Mobil 25 combination offers benefits in sterilisation processes in medical diagnostics. Moreover, the robust construction is suitable for long-term daily use in industrial environments.

Which Cimarec Mobil stirrers is the Telemodul 10 M suitable for?

Firstly, the Telemodul 10 M is specifically designed for the Cimarec Mobil 10 (50119111) and Mobil 25 (50119112) magnetic stirrers. Secondly, this controller does not work with the larger Mobil 200 or Mobil 600 stirrers, which require the more powerful Telemodul 40 M or 80 M. Moreover, the 10 M is also not suitable for the Mobil Direct, which has an integrated controller.

What is the Quick Stop function and when is it useful?

Firstly, the Quick Stop function stops the rotating stirring bar within two seconds of activation. Secondly, this is useful in processes where the stirring bar must come to a halt quickly, such as end-point detection in a titration or for visual inspection of a reaction. Moreover, the rapid stop minimises the risk of vessel breakage because the stirring bar does not continue to rotate freely.

What is the difference between the Mobil 10 and Mobil 25 stirrers?

Firstly, the Mobil 10 (50119111) is suitable for general laboratory applications at temperatures up to 56°C with IP66 protection. Secondly, the Mobil 25 (50119112) is designed for high temperatures up to 121°C and pressures up to 2 bar, with IP68 protection. Moreover, the Mobil 25 can be deployed in autoclaves, water baths and climate chambers for sterilised media applications.

Can I connect the Mobil 10 or 25 stirrer to a different Telemodul controller?

Firstly, the Telemodul 10 M is tuned to the electrical characteristics of the Mobil 10 and 25 stirrers. Secondly, other Telemodul versions such as the 20 C, 40 C, 40 M or 80 M do not work correctly on these stirrers due to differences in supply voltage and power. Moreover, we always advise using the Telemodul 10 M to guarantee optimal performance and safety.

Is the Telemodul 10 M itself resistant to autoclave temperatures?

Firstly, only the Mobil 25 stirrer is suitable for use in an autoclave at temperatures up to 121°C and pressures up to 2 bar. Secondly, the Telemodul 10 M controller itself always remains outside the autoclave, connected via the stirrer cabling. Moreover, the controller operates at normal laboratory temperatures and must not be exposed to extreme conditions.
