The Thermo Scientific Vacutherm vacuum oven dries delicate samples and materials quickly and evenly under vacuum, up to 200, 300 or 400 °C. Choose from three chamber sizes (25, 53 and 128 litres) and two heating types: jacket heated (model M) or shelf heated (model P). Built from 316L stainless steel with a double-pane safety glass door and CE plus GS certification. Poly Temp supplies the Vacutherm on a quotation basis.
The Thermo Scientific Vacutherm vacuum oven heats and dries samples under reduced pressure. Under vacuum, moisture evaporates well below its normal boiling point, so you can dry sensitive materials safely at low temperature. The oven suits moisture removal, oxidation prevention, solvent and epoxy removal, tempering and storage of oxygen sensitive materials under inert gas.
In a vacuum oven, heat transfer takes place through the shelves rather than by convection. Good contact between the sample and the shelf is therefore decisive for drying results. Jacket heated models (M) heat the chamber all around up to 200 °C. Shelf heated models (P) have the heating in the shelves themselves, for direct heat transfer and short process times up to 300 °C, optionally 400 °C.
The Vacutherm is made from high quality 1.4404 (316L) stainless steel with rounded corners for easy cleaning. The double-pane safety glass door provides implosion protection. Standard features include a rapid ventilation valve, a precision valve for gentle ventilation, an inert gas connection with a safety valve against overpressure, a DN 25 access port in the rear wall and adjustable independent over-temperature protection. A wide range of factory options (programmable control, RS485 interface, pressure controller, VITON door gasket, timers) allows application specific configurations.

The Vacutherm comes in 25, 53 and 128 litres. Choose based on your batch size and the number of shelves you want to dry at once.
Yes. A vacuum down to 20 mbar is reached with a single-stage mechanical pump with a capacity from 35 litres per minute. The pump connection is DN 25.
Yes. The oven has an inert gas connection with a safety valve. Use only a non-flammable, non-corrosive gas such as nitrogen or argon and supply it at low pressure.
Yes. The 230V models are CE and GS certified. Poly Temp supplies the Vacutherm on a quotation basis; request a quote without obligation.
