The Thermo Scientific Standard vacuum oven is a basic model for drying, curing, vacuum embedding and plating up to 220 °C. Available in 19.8 litres (model 3608-5) and 65.1 litres (model 3618-5), with a hydraulic thermostat and LED display. Please note: this line is built for 120V (North America). Poly Temp supplies on a quotation basis; check the mains voltage for your location.
The Thermo Scientific Standard vacuum oven is the entry line for vacuum drying. The oven reaches up to 220 °C and suits drying, curing, vacuum embedding and plating applications. A radiant warm-wall heating system provides uniform temperature distribution and the hydraulic thermostat with LED display shows temperature in 1 °C increments.
A polycarbonate safety shield protects the door glass and the silicone door gasket with positive latch maintains vacuum at all levels. The vacuum and air lines are corrosion resistant stainless steel. The front-mounted three-way valve controls evacuation, venting and purging with inert gas. Two removable aluminium stacking shelves are included as standard.
Important note on mains voltage: the Standard line (3608-5 and 3618-5) is only available in the 120V/60Hz version (North America, UL/CSA) and carries no CE mark. For use in Europe a suitable power supply or transformer is required. Poly Temp supplies these ovens on a quotation basis; contact us so we can determine the right configuration and voltage together.
