The sealed carriers of the TX-100S consist of metal tubes with lockable caps and O-rings. Therefore, aerosols remain contained within the carrier during centrifugation. Moreover, you place the blood tubes inside the metal tubes and close them with the cap fitted with an O-ring. Subsequently, you centrifuge the samples safely without risk of cross-contamination or aerosol release.
For the TX-100S, four adapter configurations are available. Moreover, 10 mL blood tubes fit directly into the sealed tubes without an adapter. In addition, this rotor offers dedicated adapters for BD Hemogard tubes, BD Vacutainer tubes and 1.5/2 mL microtubes. Additionally, this rotor accommodates 5 mL BD Hemogard tubes via a separate adapter (SKU 11172595).
For the TX-100S, three essential replacement parts are available. Moreover, the metal tube (SKU 50110911) is available as a replacement for damaged or lost tubes.
