The Thermo Scientific TX-750 swing-out rotor is a versatile swinging bucket rotor. Therefore, it fits perfectly with the Thermo Scientific X4 and S4 Series centrifuges. Furthermore, the TX-750 delivers a maximum capacity of 4 x 750 mL at 4,816 x g RCF. As a result, this rotor performs excellently in diverse laboratory applications.
Additionally, the TX-750 offers a choice between two bucket configurations. Round buckets are suitable for 750 mL bio-bottles and large conical bottles. Rectangular buckets accommodate 250 mL flat-bottom bottles and smaller tubes. Thus, you can flexibly adapt this rotor to your application.
This rotor combines high capacity with flexibility. Furthermore, you can choose from more than 17 adapters for round buckets. Additionally, 15 adapters are available for rectangular buckets. The TX-750 swing-out rotor fits various models. Specifically, it works with the Thermo Scientific X4T, X4TR, X4FR and the S4T, S4TR, S4FR Series. For 230V models, this rotor reaches 4,700 rpm and 4,816 x g. Additionally, 120V models reach a maximum of 4,300 rpm. As a result, the TX-750 does not fit the X1 or S1 Series.
Round buckets (75003608) are designed for 750 mL bio-bottles. Furthermore, they fit 500 mL conical bottles and large round tubes. The maximum tube diameter is 62.5 mm. Additionally, rectangular buckets (75003614) offer 4 x 250 mL capacity. Thus, they accommodate flat-bottom bottles and smaller tubes. Both bucket types come with optional ClickSeal biocontainment lids.
Yes, dedicated microplate carriers are available. For example, SKU 75003795 comes as a set of 2, or 75003617 as a set of 4. Each carrier holds four standard microplates or one deep-well plate. Additionally, the maximum plate height is 60 mm. Furthermore, a separate bucket is available for twelve TaqMan Array Cards (SKU 75003618).
