Which types of water bath do we supply?

Digital water bath: a water bath with microprocessor-controlled temperature regulation, touchscreen and programmable cycles. In addition, the digital version offers data logging and alarm logging for traceability in GMP environments.

Hot water bath: a heated water bath for temperatures up to 100°C, suitable for complement inactivation, heat treatment and pasteurisation simulations.

Can I use regular tap water in my water bath?

No, tap water contains minerals that cause limescale and damage sensors. Therefore, we recommend demineralised or deionised water for general use. For sensitive microbiological applications, you may add an algae inhibitor to prevent biofilm formation.
