Description

n-Safe Sterile laminar flow cabinet for optimal product protection

Open laminar flow with vertical downflow

The n-Safe Sterile is an open laminar flow cabinet (clean bench) that provides product protection only. Inside the work zone a controlled, virtually particle-free environment protects your products and samples against contamination from the ambient air. The cabinet does not provide operator or environmental protection and is therefore intended for applications where product sterility is the priority, such as aseptic work, media and plate preparation and the assembly of sterile components.

Air is delivered as a uniform vertical downflow across the work surface through a HEPA H14 filter, at an air velocity of approximately 0.28 m/s (adjustable 0.25-0.53 m/s). Part of the air recirculates, extending HEPA filter life by up to 30 percent and reducing energy consumption.

Ergonomics and cleanability

The work surface is a one-piece stainless steel top for easy cleaning. Dimmable LED lighting up to 2000 lux provides a shadow-free work surface. The n-Safe Sterile is available in working widths from 900 to 1800 mm and can be combined with a fixed, adjustable or electrically adjustable support stand.

Please note: a laminar flow cabinet protects the product, not the operator. If you work with biological or otherwise hazardous material, choose a Class II biological safety cabinet.
