View offer termsThe Thermo Scientific TSX Core Series is an upright ULT freezer with a temperature range of -50°C to -86°C and V-Drive compressor technology. Choose from four models with capacities for 400, 500, 600 or 700 cryoboxes of 2 inches. Racks and cryoboxes are available separately.
The TSX Core Series is designed for laboratory storage between -50°C and -86°C. Its V-Drive compressor adjusts speed to cooling demand. Choose a model to suit the required storage capacity and available space.
The standard configuration has one outer door, two inner doors and four shelves, three of which are adjustable. A suitable power cord is included. The stated cryobox capacity describes the storage layout; racks and cryoboxes are not supplied as standard.
Choose individual racks for 2-inch or 3-inch cryoboxes, microplate racks or a rack set supplied with 2-inch cryoboxes. One rack set fills one shelf. Four sets fill the standard freezer. The TSX Core 400 uses four racks per shelf; the 500, 600 and 700 use five, six and seven respectively.
CO₂ and LN₂ backup systems are optional, with factory or field installation. Select one system. A stainless steel interior and five inner doors are factory options. These configurations are supplied by quotation so model compatibility, connections and any installation work can be confirmed. We also review the rack layout for the five-door configuration.
The control panel uses capacitive buttons for settings and status information. A USB connection supports data transfer. A free-standing recorder is available for separate temperature recording. Remote monitoring requires additional equipment; we can specify a suitable configuration.
The configurator shows model-specific rack sets and shelves. Additional components are priced separately. Unpriced options, non-standard layouts and factory options require a quotation. Configurations with confirmed prices can also be added to the cart.

No. The stated capacity is the maximum storage capacity for the corresponding layout. Racks and cryoboxes are selected separately.
One model-specific RSK set fills one shelf and contains racks plus 2-inch cryoboxes with 100-cell dividers. Four sets fill the standard freezer. Individual racks do not include cryoboxes.
The configurator offers one backup system per freezer. Model compatibility, gas supply and installation are confirmed in the quotation.
You can request these factory options. We confirm availability for the selected model. The rack layout is reviewed separately for the five-door configuration.
No. Remote monitoring requires additional equipment. Select remote monitoring to request a quotation for a compatible solution. A free-standing temperature recorder is a separate option.
